Concurso. Steel Competition . FELICITACIONES

Estimados :
Hemos recibido la noticia muy alentadora, por cierto, que en el concurso de la cámara de acero estadounidense organizada por Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture
http://www.acsa-arch.org/ dos de los trabajos realizados en la cátedra durante el ciclo lectivo 2009 , en equipo con los alumnos compañeros de la Universidad de Woodbury Los Angeles California , han sido galardonados con :

Segundo premio : Cody James Glen, WOO Salvador Cabezon, & Maria A. Sanchez Casella, UBA
Mención Honorífica: Karen Avanesian, Armen Tutundzhyan ,WOO, Silvina Mandarano, & Romina Giorno, UBA


Les estoy bajando el informe oficial de los mismos .
Es dable destacar que en la categoría libre se han presentado en total 168 trabajos de unas 25 universidades y se han otorgado tres premios y dos menciones de honor, esto implica que el promedio de los trabajos premiados por sobre los presentados ha sido del 3%.
Este dato estadístico, muy norteamericano por cierto, nos da una idea de la importancia de los lauros obtenidos.

Las mas sinceras felicitaciones a los ganadores y a todos los alumnos que participaron en este evento siempre con lo mejor de su disposición y buena voluntad.
Por supuesto también al cuerpo docente de A4 que ha trabajado en este tema muchas horas extendidas de su agenda de trabajo con la solidez no exenta de sanas diversidades de un verdadero cuerpo.

Congratulation, I am delighted to inform you that your design RE.COVER// was awarded Second Place in the 2009-2010 ACSA/AISC Steel Design Student Competition – Open (Category II), Student Design Competition. The award consists of a cash prize of $1500 awarded to you and a $750 prize awarded to your Faculty Sponsor.
We received 168 design submissions and the jurors chose First, Second, & Third Prizes along with two Honorable Mentions to be awarded; that is a 3% acceptance rate.
